Peyton turned 3 the day after we returned from vacation so we threw together a quick birthday with a couple of her little friends (one of which declined having her picture taken). We met at Build-a-Bear and then headed to McDonald's for lunch.
Afterwards, we dropped by our favorite cupcake place, Trophy Cupcakes.
On our way home I texted our good friends, Scott and Cristie, and asked if I provided the pizza and cake would they let us come play at the lake. They happily agreed. During lunch, Peyton exclaimed, "this is the best birthday EVER!" It turned out to be a fantastic day, even if most of it was planned as we went along!
